Highland Park Gets a Piece of the Pie

It's a Friday night in Highland Park, California. You're craving to get out and experience the West Coast nightlife, but first that craving needs to be met with the perfect weekend supper; pizza. As of early February, Triple Beam Pizza has become a an integral part of the community, offering a variety of Roman-style pizza.

The hot new lunch and dinner spot comes as a collaboration between Everson Royce Bars' Matt Molina and Nancy Silverton, both already established restaurant owners in the Los Angeles area. Located on 5918 N. Figueroa St, the restaurant opened its doors the weekend of February 11th to the delight of a large crowd of locals chomping at the bit to get a fresh, hot slice of greasy goodness. The initial response so far has been extremely positive. Many customers have praised the variety of toppings used and consistency of the crust. The service has been labelled by many as considerate, often checking in with those waiting for a table and giving out refreshments. As a result of the fantastic opening weekend, many have taken to the review website, Yelp, to give the new pizza hub some kind words. Triple Beam Pizza currently has a 4.5 out of 5 star rating from the 21 reviews accumulated. Judging by the initial response, it can only go higher.

In addition to the variety of pizza toppings to choose from, the beverage selection has also been excellent. Typical drinks such as water are still served to the public, but guests also have the choice of chilled white wine and Italian beer, making for a refreshing supplement to an already great meal.

Triple Beam Pizza is open from 4 PM to 9 PM on weekdays and from noon to 9 PM on weekends. Stop by for a bite of Highland Park's newest pizza place today.
