California Woman Gives Birth To Twins In Different Years

Twins In Different

Joaquin Jr. Ontiveros and Aitiana de Jesus Ontiveros are fraternal twins who were born in different years. However, there is nothing unusual about their birth. The mother did not have a prolonged labor. Doctors also do not consider this a scientific anomaly.

Joaquin Jr. was born first. He came into the world at 11:58 p.m. on New Year's Eve. His sister came into the world 18 minutes later at 12:16 a.m. The twins were born at Delano Regional Medical Center. The hospital is located 30 miles north of Bakersfield. The babies were born via C-section.

Aitiana was the first baby born at the hospital during the New Year. Seyed Timjidi is the physician who delivered the babies. He stated that he has been delivering babies for the past 35 years. This is the first time that he has delivered twins in different years. The twins were delivered early because the pregnancy was considered high-risk.

The mother, whose name is Maria Esperanza Flores Dios, was due in late January. Her C-section was scheduled next week, but she went into labor early. The parents were given $3,000 worth of baby supplies. The supplies were donated by community groups and the hospital.

It is not uncommon to have twins born in different years. Last year, there were four sets of twins who were born in different years. Brayden Alam Prakash was the first baby of the year born in Fresno. He was actually born one week late. He was due on Christmas Eve. He was born at 1:28 a.m. at Saint Agnes Medical Center.

The story of the twins' birth was posted on the Bakersfield News Facebook page. The article shared pictures of the twins, their mother and doctor. Quotes from the doctor were also featured on the Facebook page.
