Apple and Deloitte team up to launch a service called ‘Enterprise Next’

On Wednesday, tech giant Apple consulting firm Deloitte & Touche announced a partnership which marks the launch of a new service called 'Enterprise Next.' The partnership will enable Apple to increase the sales of its mobile devices to businesses.

Under the Enterprise Next service launched by Apple and Deloitte, more than 5,000 Deloitte advisors will give advice to corporate clients on how they can make better use of the products and services offered by Apple.

To put it differently, the Enterprise Next service will underscore the opening of a new practice by Deloitte, under which the consulting firm will assist corporate clients in using Apple products and services --- a move which will potentially boost Apple's enterprise sales, especially at a time when its key device, the iPhone, is showing signs of maturation.

In announcing the Enterprise Next service, Apple and Deloitte said that more than 100,000 employees in the Deloitte workforce are already using 75 custom apps on iPhones and iPads.

In reference to Apple's team-up with Deloitte, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the iPhone and iPad are "transforming how people everywhere get work done;" and added: "And through this partnership, we're able to help even more businesses tap into the incredible capabilities that only the Apple ecosystem can deliver."
