Google Negotiates for a New Campus

Google Campus

Google has been a major player in California's tech industry for almost as long as that industry has existed, but the industry giant is still seeking expansion. The company plans to purchase sixteen parcels of land located in downtown San Jose from the city's government, with the intention of using that space to build a giant corporate campus. The space will include a huge number of offices, housing units, and other structures, with a total size of six to eight million square feet.
