Dodgers Finally Lock up NL West

It has been a very odd year for the Los Angeles Dodgers. They had one of the best four month runs that any team has ever had in baseball history. They were on a historic pace that had many people thinking that they would eventually shatter the record of 116 wins set by the 2001 Seattle Mariners. However, the Dodgers began to lose on a regular basis in August. They would up losing 10 games in a row at one point. This was the most consecutive losses that the team had suffered in the past quarter-century.
