Samsung adds new 3-in-1 to its notebook line --- ‘Notebook 7 Spin’

In an announcement made on Thursday, bigwig South Korean device maker Samsung launched its latest 3-in-1 convertible laptop called ‘Notebook 7 Spin.’

The cost of Samsung’s brand new Notebook 7 Spin convertible laptop begins at $799. The device – chiefly aimed at entertainment uses – is available in two screen sizes --- 13.3 inches; and 15.6 inches. Both the variants of Notebook 7 Spin will boast Full HD screens with ‘Video HDR.’

Since the Notebook 7 Spin has a 3-in-1 design, its display can rotate through 360 degrees. As such, the design of the device gives it the capability to be used as a traditional laptop, a tablet, or a tent for watching videos.

The base 13-inch model of Samsung’s new Notebook 7 Spin convertible laptop is equipped with a Core i5 processor, and it comes with 8GB of RAM; while the $999-priced 15-inch model of the device is powered by a Core i7 processor, and comes with 12GB of RAM and dedicated Nvidia graphics.

The new Notebook 7 Spin features a USB 3.0 port, a USB-C port, and two USB 2.0 ports; and it is compatible with the ‘Continuum’ feature of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system. The Continuum feature is capable of making automatic adjustments to the display of the Notebook 7 Spin as well as to input modes based on the device's orientation.
