Plantronics launches new BackBeat Pro 2 wireless headphones

Plantronics has launched an excellent pair of wireless headphones – called BackBeat Pro 2 headphones – to work with smartphones which come without headphones.

The BackBeat Pro 2 wireless headphones launched by Plantronics are an updated version of the company’s original BackBeat Pro premium noise-canceling headphones. The new headphones are priced at $200; and come in a soft carrying case, along with a micro-USB cable for charging and a 3.5mm audio cable. However, a slightly more expensive ‘SE’ version of the headphones – including NFC pairing and a hard case – costs $250.

The new BackBeat Pro 2 wireless headphones – now available for purchase – boast a refined and streamlined design, and come with all the noteworthy features of the original BackBeat Pro wireless headphones. Some of these features include an over-ear design, active noise cancelation, and 24-hour battery life.

In addition, the new BackBeat Pro 2 wireless headphones have a comparatively less bulky oblong ear-pad design; and are capable of offering exceptional wireless sound quality. The headphones also come with smart sensors, which automatically pause the music when users take them off, and restart music when users put them back on their head.

Overall, the BackBeat Pro 2 wireless headphones have a practical design which chiefly focuses on usability and functionality rather than aesthetics.
