Pac-12 Network signs agreement with Sling TV

In an announcement made on Thursday, Pac-12 Network said that it has worked out an agreement with online streaming service Sling TV, for the addition of Pac-12 Networks in Sling TV’s ‘Sports Extra’ add-on package.

As a result of the agreement, the subscribers of Sling TV’s ‘orange’ and ‘blue’ tiers will now be able to subscribe to the Sports Extra pack, to get the ability to watch all six Pac-12 regional feeds -- Pac-12 Arizona, Pac-12 Bay Area, Pac-12 Los Angeles, Pac-12 Mountain, Pac-12 Oregon, and Pac-12 Washington -- irrespective of their location.

According to the details shared by Pac-12 Network, the cost of the Sports Extra pack for Sling TV’s ‘orange’ subscribers will be an additional $5 per month; and for ‘blue’ subscribers, it will be an extra $10 per month.

Sling TV’s addition of Pac-12 Networks in its Sports Extra pack is great news for Pac-12 fans, as they will be able to watch all six Pac-12 regional feeds which collectively offer live coverage of as many as 800 sporting events.

About Pac-12 Network’s agreement with Sling TV, Lydia Murphy-Stephans -- President of Pac-12 Networks -- said in a press release that the agreement is “a great way for Pac-12 Networks to kick off the 2016 football season;” and added: “Sling’s innovative delivery model and great interface makes it incredibly easy for our fans to stay connected with their favorite Pac-12 school, team and sports.”
