Motorola Moto X (2016) leaked press renders hint at metal design; Aug 24 launch

With a recent report having confirmed that Lenovo-owned Motorola’s next-generation flagship handset Moto X (2016) will feature a metal design, newly-leaked press renders of the handset now hint at a possible August 24 launch of the device.

The images of the Moto X (2016) handset were first leaked in December last year by the always-reliable tipster Evan Blass. The images indicated that the new Motorola flagship handset will boast a redesigned look as compared to its predecessors; with Motorola planning to give its top-tier handset a metal body.

Substantiating the December leak, the lately leaked press renders of Moto X (2016) hint at the device’s metal design. In addition, the leaked press renders also indicate that the handset will likely be available in two color options – black, and white.

Moreover, an unidentified source has also claimed that the official name which Motorola is likely to give to its Moto X (2016) next-generation flagship handset could be ‘Moto X4.’

Meanwhile, if the leaked August 24 launch date of the Moto X (2016) handset is accurate, the device will evidently be released around the time when Samsung will probably launch the Galaxy Note 6; and just a few days ahead of Apple's unveiling of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models in September.
