Microsoft updates its Word Flow keyboard app

In an announcement made earlier this week, Microsoft said that it has rolled out an update to its Word Flow keyboard app, to bring on some useful new features to enhance the overall experience of the app’s users.

The updated version of the Word Flow keyboard app -- the Word Flow version 2.0 -- is now available for download in the App Store.

According to Microsoft, the update brings a built-in search feature to the April-launched Word Flow keyboard app, enabling the users to search for GIFs, images, and emojis directly from the keyboard, with the help of the company’s Bing search engine.

In addition, the updated Word flow keyboard app also gives users the ability to find contacts easily when they want to share someone's phone number. The updated app also allows users to look up things like restaurants, videos, news, and facts; and also get the weather forecast right from the keyboard.

Moreover, the update also gives the Word Flow keyboard app the capability to offer GIF predictions, unfolding icons which the users might want to include in the messages as they type. Similar to other keyboard apps, the updated Word Flow app also now shows word suggestions to users as they write out their messages.
