Harley-Davidson introduces all-new flat-track race bike --- XG750R

In a move which marks the introduction of Harley-Davidson’s first all-new flat-track race bike in more than four decades, the motorcycle manufacturer has unveiled its all-new XG750R racer with the Screaming Eagle Factory Team.

The Harley-Davidson XG750R flat-track race bike is scheduled to make its official competition debut at the AMA Pro Flat Track Springfield Mile in Illinois, on Sunday, May 29, 2016. Thereafter, on June 2, the racer will grab the spotlight at the ESPN X Games event.

Revealing that the new XG750R motorcycle is exclusively for race competition, and will not be available for sale as of now, Harley-Davidson said that the bike will raced by 18-year-old Factory Team rider Davis Fisher on the AMA Pro Harley-Davidson GNC1 presented by the Vance & Hines flat-track series.

According to the details shared by Harley-Davidson, the muscular-looking XG750R race bike is equipped with the fuel-injected, liquid-cooled Harley-Davidson 750cc Revolution X V-Twin engine. The engine and racing structure of the bike have been provided by Vance & Hines Motorsports.

About Harley-Davidson’s introduction of the all-new XG750R flat-track race bike, the company’s racing manager Kris Schoonover said: “After decades of flat-track racing success behind the Harley-Davidson XR750 flat track motorcycle, we knew it was time to develop the next-generation Harley-Davidson to compete in one of the best spectator racing sports out there today.”
