Google: Don’t play your music at max volume if you don’t like audio issues

Amid growing complaints from Google Pixel users that their devices provided poor sound quality when they jacked audio to the highest level, a Google representative has suggested users not to play music at the maximum volume.

The poor sound quality issue was widely noticed in December, when Redditor Mark “badmark” Buckman posted a video clip depicting the issue while making use of the Perfect Piano app.

Google admitted that the issue exists, affecting audio quality for some applications. But, some tests indicated that the issue might be due to a flaw in the Pixel’s hardware, while Google argued that it might be an issue with apps.

When Google was asked for a comment on the issue, a representative said, “This is currently a known issue and we are working to resolve it. In the meantime, a temporary solution can be to not play your device at max volume.”

The company representative denied the reports that some flaw in the hardware is to be blamed for the devise’s poor sound quality.

Meanwhile, Google Pixel users have no other option to get rid of the problem than turning their tunes down, as suggested by Google.
