Fossil launches new Q Wander and Q Marshal smartwatches

In a Tuesday announcement, Fossil said that it will soon be launching two new smartwatch models -- the Q Wander and the Q Marshal – which were announced by the company earlier this year.

According to the announcement made by Fossil, the preorders for the new Q Wander and Q Marshal smartwatches will start from Friday, August 12. Both the devices will be available for general purchase at the stores with effect from August 29.

Though the exact pricing of the new Q Wander and Q Marshal smartwatches has not been officially disclosed by Fossil, the company has said in a statement that the cost of the devices will “start at $295.”

Going by the details shared by Fossil, the forthcoming Q Wander and Q Marshal smartwatches will run on Google’s Android Wear platform, and both the devices will boast compatibility with Android as well as iOS smartphones.

Further adding that the case size of both Q Wander and Q Marshal smartwatches will be 45mm, and both the devices will be equipped with a touchscreen that makes use of an ‘Always on’ display, Fossil said that one of the key differences between the two new smartwatches is that the “Q Wander has a beautiful soft curving, multi-finish case with artfully sculpted wire lugs,” while the Q Marshal comes with a “striking rugged case.”
