Ford unveils 2017 F-series Super Duty trucks in Denver

Bigwig automaker Ford Motors unveiled its 2017 F-series Super Duty trucks in Denver this week.

The new, redesigned Super Duty trucks introduced by Ford are scheduled to hit the markets this fall. The cost of the F-250 pickup will begin at $32,500; while the highest-end F-450 Platinum model will be priced at approximately $77,000.

The newly-unveiled 2017 F-series Super Duty trucks mark the first ever redesign of Super Duty series which was originally launched for the 1999 model year.

According to the details shared by product communications manager Mike Levine, the redesign of Super Duty started with the truck’s frame, which has nearly 24 times more stiffness than its predecessor. The redesigned truck has a tougher aluminum alloy body, and its weight is nearly 350 pounds lighter than the outgoing model with steel body.

One of the key features of the 2017 F-series Super Duty trucks highlighted by Ford is its patented 'four-barrel' cup holder, which will enable the owners and occupants of the F-Series Super Duty trucks to remain charged with heaps of coffee or other beverages.

In addition, some of the other technologies and features of the 2017 F-series Super Duty trucks include adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering, lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and 360-degree camera systems.
