Dell adds 17-inch model to its new Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 laptop line

After having recently unveiled its new Inspiron 7000 line of 2-in-1 laptops at the 2016 Computex show in Taiwan, Dell has now announced that the Inspiron 7000 lineup includes a beastly 17-inch model. The Inspiron 7000 tablet-laptop hybrid lineup already includes 13-inch and 15-inch models.

According to Dell’s claims, the 17-inch Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 laptop is the world’s first 2-in-1 laptop to boast a 17-inch screen.

Going by the details shared by Dell, the 17-inch Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 laptop features Full HD resolution – like its smaller counterparts – and it also comes with an infrared camera. The camera enables the users to log in to Windows -- by just glancing at the camera -- by using the software’s Hello facial recognition feature.

All the three models of the Inspiron 7000 lineup are equipped with Intel's sixth-generation Core processor and NVIDIA's GeForce 940M graphics chip. The 2-in-1 laptops also come with a backlit keyboard.

In addition, some of the other features of the Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 laptops include the HDMI port, USB Type-C port, USB 3.0, and as SD card slot. The new 2-in-1 laptops will be available for purchase at Dell US website on June 2, followed by retail availability at Best Buy. The cost of the devices will begin at $749.
