Autistic Teen, who was missing for 3 weeks, found in Culver City

Authorities said that a 15-year-old girl with autism has been found in Culver City, within a few miles of where she was last seen three weeks ago. Investigation is still going on to find out if she was the victim of a crime.

According to Los Angeles police, Lt. John Jenal, Kimberly Greenberg was found on Monday and is now reunited with her mother.

Police have said that an unspecified number of people have been detained in connection with the girl's disappearance. Jenal said that the people who have been detained are not related to the girl.

Jenal said, "We are trying to recreate the last three weeks. Obviously, given her situation we may require some time. We have detained some people. We want to make sure she is not a victim".

Los Angeles police took help of the FBI in tracking down the 15-year-old. Greenberg disappeared on March 24, after last being seen around 8 p. m. at her Mar Vista home.

When she disappeared, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children distributed a flier, according to which Greenberg may have been in the company of an adult man.

When the girl went missing, the parents were highly concerned as Greenberg had autism and used to take medication.
