Analysis of ‘Battlefield 1’ historical trailer reveals game creators’ attention to historical accuracy

The recently-launched historical video trailer of the eagerly-anticipated ‘Battlefield 1’ game has been analyzed by history experts at The Great War; and it has been found that the game’s creators gave due attention to historical accuracy.

On the basis of the analysis of the 15-minute ‘Battlefield 1’ historical video trailer, history experts at The Great War have apparently applauded the game creators for developing a realistic first person shooter game with hardly any factual errors and fantasy elements.

For the analysis of the historical video trailer of ‘Battlefield 1,’ history experts at The Great War took the trailer apart shot by shot. Upon the completion of their comprehensive analysis, the experts concluded that the game -- scheduled for launch in October -- faithfully renders the technology, tactics and general apparel from the World War I period (1914-1918).

Despite the fact that some scenes of the historical video trailer of ‘Battlefield 1’ appeared somewhat farfetched, the trailer shows the close quarters combat of World War I fighters, and the clumsy, hard-to-steer tanks of the period. Moreover, the gas masks and pickaxes shown in the trailer accurately follow the historical design.

Overall, history experts at The Great War have pointed out that the ‘Battlefield 1’ historical video trailer is highly realistic, and true to the letter and spirit of the World War I era.
