Amazon Dash Replenishment Service now works with select Samsung printers

In an announcement made on Tuesday, online retail giant Amazon said that its Dash Replenishment Service -- which was officially launched by the company in January 2016 -- now works with some select models of Samsung printers.

The announcement implies that select Samsung printers have joined a group of devices which leverage Amazon's Dash re-ordering system to automatically order fresh supplies when the existing supplies are about to get exhausted.

The devices and small appliances into which the Amazon Dash replenishment Service has already been integrated include Whirlpool smart dishwashers, Brita pitchers, Brother International printers, and General Electric products, among others.

According to Amazon's Tuesday announcement, the Samsung printers which will work with the Amazon Dash Replenishment Service include the following four models: SL-C430W, SL-C480FW, SL-M283DW, and SL-M2885FW. Users of these Samsung printers can sign up for the Dash re-ordering service via Samsung's Mobile Print app or desktop printer management app.

As a result of the availability of the Amazon Dash Replenishment Service for the users of the mentioned models of Samsung printers can pre-select a toner type to enable the automatic re-ordering of the printer's ink when supplies run low.
