‘Rocket League’ update will add extra rare items and trade-in system to the game

In a recent announcement, game developer Psyonix has revealed that it will roll out an update, later this month, to its popular ‘Rocket League’ game to significantly change the way in which the game treats customization items.

The major additions which the forthcoming Rocket League update will bring to the game include extra rare items as well as an all-new trade-in system.

The imminent rarities coming to Rocket League will join the Uncommon items of the game. These rarities will appear as postgame rewards; and will fall into two distinct categories --- Rare and Very Rare. Player will be able to obtain these rarities only through online matches.

Along with the addition of the extra rare items, the Rocket League update will also introduce a trade-in system which will give players the ability to exchange five items from a specific rarity tier for an item from the next tier up.

Moreover, other than introducing the extra rare items and the trade-in system to Rocket League in an update scheduled for rollout this month, Psyonix also has plans underway to update the game with a full player-to-player trading system before the end of 2016.
