SF Mayoral Candidates Participate in Forum

After Ed Lee unexpectedly passed away while serving as mayor of San Francisco, several candidates have been campaigning for the city's top spot. On Saturday, five of those candidates participated in a forum hosted by the United Democratic Club and held at the San Francisco Main Library's auditorium.

The candidates all had a chance to answer questions during the event, which was moderated by John Diaz, The Chronicle's editorial page director. They were asked about a range of topics, from local issues such as crime to national issues such as immigration.
